One of our client implemented ESS and MSS solution from portal end as part of EHP7 upgrade. The current version of portal is EP 7.41.
and they are using Country code (Molga) 99. Now client is planing to change country code 99 to code 24.
as of portal consultant I am new for this configuration so my question is there is any configuration or changes need to be done Portal side?

I want to configure SSO from SAP EP 702 to Readsoft Webcycle(invoces application) running on Apache Tomcat 6.0 on Windows 2008 R2. i Have gone Through SAP note (Note 304450 - Single-Sign-On with SAP logon tickets in non-SAP systems) & (SAP Note 442401 - Web server filter for SSO to third-party systems).
But both the methods are still confusing.Can you please provide me some steps and guide to follow to make the SSO work.

I have a issue in the SAP EP Module-ESS. I could able to see the detailed view of the Personal Id details in the quality system, where as the same is compressed in the DEV system but when I click EDIT button the needed details will be displayed.
When I change the services, then I could able to see but I couldn't go ahead and save or update the details.

I am trying to integrate webSigner Applet using Portal components. I
created a Portal application standalone project and a portal component
of
type "JSPDynPage". I have a JSP by the name "emas.jsp" in my project.
The
code of "emas.jsp" is attached with this incident. The console of
Browser
is reading a error "Permission denied to access property
"documentElement". Because of this error, I beleieve, I not able to
access DOM elements by document.GetElementById() method of javascript.
The screenshot of the error is attached with this incident. The first
error relating permission occurs on the load of the JSP and the other
one
"TypeError:document.GetElementbyId(...) is null" occurs when I click on
"FormSign" button on my JSP. Please suggest appropriate solution.

We recently upgraded our sanbox to SAP NW Portal 7.4 SP2. I'm trying to integrate TinyMCE into WPC using the doc

I downloaded and install NWDS 7.31 (as it is the latest version and is supposed to work with NW 7.4). I followed the link in the doc to download the TinyMCE archive file.
1. If I import the archive into NWDS as "Existing projects into Workspace" then I got the following errors:
Project 'TinyMCEEditorComponent' is missing required library: '\\production2.wdf.sap.corp\naas\java\730\km.facades\NW730EXT_SP_COR\gen\dbg\java\packaged\public\_kmfrwk\tc~km~frwk.jar'
Project 'TinyMCEEditorComponent' is missing required library: '\\production2.wdf.sap.corp\naas\java\730\km.wpc\NW730EXT_SP_COR\gen\dbg\java\packaged\public\_xmleditor\com.sap.nw.pcc.xmleditor.jar'
I couldn't find the missing jars in the portal --> where can I find these jars?
2. If I created a dummy project and imported the archive file then it seems to be fine. I then performed the followings:
- modify the 'tiny_mce_popup.js' to replace the document.domain with FQDN
- export the EAR --> deploy the EAR to portal
- tinyMCE didn't show up in the Editor Components --> add it manually
- change the 'wpc_simple_item.xml' to replace 'htmledit' with 'tinyMCE'
- restart portal
==> nothing changed when I tried to edit a KM document. In WPC, I couldn't use the Paragraph Editor b/c it won't open.
I don't know if we can use TinyMCE in NW 7.4. If yes, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or what I'm missing here. Please help!

I am seeking an urgent assistance from you please here for the issue which we are facing for Global employees whilst accessing there UWL.
We are struggling since 20 days to fix this issue however no luck yet.
500 Internal error
Application error occurred during request processing
This below error occurs for all managers whilst approving the leave request
We did below analysis and took actions before posting this on SCN:
* We did deleted UWL cache and expired workitems.
* Checked SWu3 config - all components are activated.
* Checked all relevant RFC and JCo - all are activated.
* Re-registered UWL connection.
* Checked all RFC users - none were faulty but we re-assigned it.
As per error log, I assume this error is coming because of some or other system users but we are not able to figure it out.
Looking forward to have expert inputs from your end - let me know if I need to provide some additional info.

Hello Everybody,
We meet difficulties to navigate to the portal components with keyboard. Developments have been realized to reach "Portal Favorites" part (left side of screenshot below):
But, when you click on "Enter", it doesn't work.
For example, "KM Content" is into my favorites page on the portal. So, I navigate with keyboard to "KM Content" on "Portal Favorites" and I click on "Enter". But no page is opened.
The "Portal Favorites" is in the "Desktop innerpage" of Framework page:
Have you ever had this anomaly? Do you a correction which could resolve this problem?
Our Portal is on SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SP9 PL23.

We are using portal 7.0 version.
If we are creating a request in one of the application from portal then we are able to view the PDF file along with data and through SOST tcode from SAP system also.at that time also we are receiving one mail along with pdf file in Out look with requested data. but we are not able to open the pdf file due to below attached screen shot.
Please let me know what is the issue.

We are currently upgrading to Netweaver 7.40 and are using SPS 12.
We've noticed the behavior of the browser title appears to have issues or perhaps has changed from our current 7.02 environment.
In 7.02, after the title populates with Overview - SAP Netweaver Portal, which is essentially the title of the second level navigation tab plus the constant SAP Netweaver Portal.
On this tab is the are announcements and the UWL.
In 7.40, as the page starts to populate the tab reads the same with Overview - SAP Netweaver Portal, however, once the page is done loading (and I should mention the UWL is the last iView to load, the browser tab just says UWL instead of saying Overview - SAP Netweaver Portal.
This behavior continues across tabs so when I go to the ESS tab and Overview is selected, I see the same title in 7.02 which is Overview - SAP Netweaver Portal.
But in 7.40, I see that same title as the page is loading but when finished, the title changes to XssMenu.
I've looked through configuration to see if this has changed somewhere but could not find anything.
Can someone confirm whether this is the behavior of the browser tab title now or if this looks like something to report?

I have a setup where users can access Webdynpro (ABAP) application on our ERP system through the portal with Single Sign On. This works fine on desktop computers.
But when users access the Portal links from an iPad they are prompted for user/password? The iPad is connected to Company network by Cisco AnyConnect with their Domain user. Problem seems to be, that the IOS Safari doesn´t know that - right?
Any body knows how to set it up?

I am facing problem with SAP BI BEx Query designer report in SAP Portal 7.31 system. Here, the required SAP BW KM Repository is properly configured in sap portal, but when the BEx report runtime, the KM folder issue is appearing as mention, for making BEx query report document.
Within the SAP BI BEx report Layouts where the comment function is enable, there are displayed icons in the column header which should not be there.
Additionally when trying tho access these icons a "forbidden" message and when selection the details a "document not found" message occur.
When tying to create new comments on cell level, the cell assignment is incorrect and the document icon is displayed in a different cell than the one the document was created for.

We are on job of implementing ESS/MSS WDA - we could successfully implement ESS and enabled all services.
To implement ESS, we did activated relevant WDA 2 business functions and accordingly, uploaded PFCG roles to portal - this worked for ESS however same approach we are raking further to implement MSS.
We got suggestion to upload PFCG composite role SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC_3 of MSS to Portal however whilst uploading MSS roles, we got below error.
Hence we tried uploading Single roles of MSS and now we could alteast see the MSS Home menu but all services are throwing below error.
Seeking expert suggestion please.
