Hello Experts..

I am trying to customize Netweaver 7.3 Masthead file(Masthead.jsp) through NWDS. I have searched on SDN and found so many links but non of them resolve the issues.

It says that we do not need to create EAR files for the Imported WAR file. I have followed exactly the same steps but after assigning needed JAR files to Lib folder and configuring Build Path, error didn't removed.

Does I am missing some thing here.

AFP - Masthead Modification

It says that we need to create EAR files for the uploaded WAR file. But needed Jar files are not said here.

My doubts are:

1. Do we need to create EAR file for the project in NWDS.

2. Which are the Needed JAR files required to remove the error of Project and Masthead.jsp file.

Can any one tell me the exact process to edit the Masthead and needed JAR files to remove the error....

If you guys have any document...Please share with us..It will be highly appreciated.

Hi All,

We have created a transaction iview (GUI for HTML ) as a link in portal and it is working fine in development portal.

But the problem is when it is transported to the Quality portal, unable to delete the selected rows in the application,though we have selected the rows getting a message"please select at least one personalization object to be deleted".

Could someone help me in this regards.

hi,

I am following below tutorial to create a Ajax framework page

The Masthead UI part appears fine (see screnshot) but navigation nodes assigned to my id (content admin, system admin and user admin) do not appear.

The tutorial talks about executing below method for getting navigation nodes

EPCM.getSAPTop().LSAPI.AFPPlugin.model.getNavigationSubTree(null,

drawTree, sapTreeEl);

No clues why this does not fetch necessary navigation nodes for me. Please help

Hi Team,

Greeting of the day!!!!!!!!!

I have created a webdynpro application and deployed it in portal successfully. Now I have integrated this apps in content admin->Web dynpro java application. But while loading this page ,it shows error which states:

Error : "This content cannot be displayed in the frame.".

PFA.....http://

Please do let me know which property of the iview should be set to get the application directly in my page.

Any earlier responce is much appriciated as I have to deliver this by tomorrow.

We already configured Connector, WAS and ITS properties and the Connection tests are all successful.

However, we are getting the error as shown below:

What might be the cause of this problem?

Hello,

i am building a small reporting application for BPM. Now to get the reporting datasource of a process it requires the Vendor and dc name of that process. I am stuck right now since i don't know how to get this information.

I can get ProcessDefinition and ProcessInstance objects from the SAP BPM API. Then i want to show the processes to the User in the UI. The user can choose a process now and next step would be to get the ReportingDatasource object for that chosen process. But the method requires DC and vendor name of the process. Is there any other api there to get this information?

I have created Portal Activity Report (no. of users logged in) in CE7.3 EHP1 SP9 Portal (sapjvm6).

In this report, I see an error popup that says following: -

Application Blocked by Security Settings

Name: com.sap.miniapps.graphics.Piglet

Location: https://<portal server hostname>

Your security settings have blocked and untrusted application from running.

If I right click on error and go to details I see following: -

We are using SAP Netweaver 7.3 Portal and we have NWDS 7.3.

I need to modifiy the portal masthead in ajax framework page.

I downloaded the file com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.masthead.war directly from the server (not through Portal).

Kindly let me know how can i edit this *.war file project. In previous version, it was in *.par file.

Which perspective i need to use for editing this com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.masthead.war file.?

How to create iView from the Portal Application (PAR) template?

What are the neccessary JAR files for com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.masthead.war?

I am looking for Standard Iviews related to Purcahse order in Portal 7.0. I found Iviews like create Purchase order, change Purchase order etc. but all of them are Transactional Iviews.

I am looking for ABAP WD iviews. Does Standard ABAP WD iviews for PO are avaialble. If so how to get them to my portal. Which Business package I need to import to my portal. Please help.

Also on ECC I dont see any ABAP WD PO related services in SICF Tcode. Can some one let us know how to find ABAP WD standard Iviews for PO and provide service names?

Hi Experts,

We customize CATS application and running sucessfully. without any errors . But presently facing few user issues , could you pls help how to solve.

1. We unable to open CATS application in 2 different browsers at a time . if try to open getting below error message

Acess to ths page has been locked.This can occres when duplicate window has been opend to the same page"".

We suggest users close already opened browser and clear cache and then try to open single browser the CATS application, But few user are not satisfying providing answers and asking check possible to try to open CATS application in 2 different browsers at a time and don't show this error message

pls let me know is it possible to open CATS application at a time or not ? if yes pls suggest how to do it in portal

2. some time getting Users locked and need to wait certain period of time or we can do manually go to sm 12 Tcode and unlcok users ..these things can do manually.

here my question , can we do this activity from portal side i mean can we provide any method in portal side to do automatically

Dear All

I'm trying create a RFC for connect a portal nw 7.4 with ERP. after I create destination list (RFC name, Target host, Sys Number, Sys ID, and Logon Data) and try to Ping Destination, I got success message "Successfully connected to system xxx as user xxxxxx".

But when I try to configure in "Identity Management -> ABAP System -> Validate Configuration" I got error message "Validation failed. Technical detail: "Guest user ids are not unique, found multiple objects for Guest -- UACC.PRIVATE_DATASOURCE.un:Guest - UACC.R3_DATASOURCE4057428.GUEST"

I already try to create new RFC but still got same error message,

Could you tell me if there is a specific configuration ?

Hello,

Portal version: CE7.3 EHP1 SP9

I have a requirement where I need to show a .GIF file as initial application loading icon before main jsp of the JSPDynpage DC opens.

I referred to following thread and achieved it in Web Dynpro DC but don't know how to achieve it in JSPDynpage type DC.

Loading... Please wait.

I saw many people (non-sap) achieve it by using scripting inside "head" tag in HTMLs. However, not sure how to adapt it for JSPDynpage type DCs.

Any ideas/suggestions/code-snippets?

We have a NW portal 7.3 which throws a runtime error when we go to Content Administration. The other applications fetching iViews or KM content from this portal also throw Runtime error. When we restart the server everything works fine. It happens once in 1-2 months. We are looking for root cause of the issue.

Hi Experts,

I'm kind of new to Web Order Management Portal support so can anyone please help me with my issue?

The problem I have is that when I make an order in the webshop using IE8. I get a blank page after submitting the cart.

But when I do this using Firefox, it goes through without a problem.

Also, I get this error message in IE.

I copied the error details to notepad and this is what it says:

now when i open the portal ,in the detailed naviagtion it loads the overview folder.then i need to click on it to open the folder and select the link inside it to see the content.my requirement is when i click on the secondlevel navigation by default it loads the detailed navigation with overvire folder expeanded and purching link selected and the content shud display in the portal.please help me to achivie this

PCd structure is as below and purchasing iview is ther in the "shop on behalf" page. ep7.3 and its WC role.
