We developed some Budget Form using SAP NW Portal 7.4 BPPS 1.0/PBF, BW 7.4. NWDI track is also configured in our landscape. Now we need to transport the PBF Form which we developed in Visual Composer from development to quality and production.
Someone can help me with the steps involved in transporting PBF Form using NWDI from development to quality and production.

I have setup SSO between Portal and ABAP system.
EP2 is my SID.i have Added ABAP system as Trusted in --> http://<hostname>:port/SSO2
From what I was trying to test the configuration is from test and configuration tools.(system administration--> Support.)
(note : after adding abap System in Portal.) when I select the tool transaction from the drop down and have given the inputs 1.alias 2.Tcode 3.SAP GUI for HTML.
Then I get Below Error.when executed ...
please help me to correct this error.
and also let me know if there is another way to Test SSO configuration in Netweaver 7.3

Hello All,
I see that a Fiori page is now available in Portal 7.4
I have a requirement to add some URL iView's inside this Fiori page and also customize it's look & feel, color etc.
Could you please let me know if it is possible? if yes, some helpful links, how to guides will be useful.
Basically, I want to do away with Portal AFP etc etc and use this Fiori page as my portal's default page.
All integrated apps can either open in new browser window or inside content frame.
Please share your opinions.

I have a requirement in my Project Wherein I want to change the Welcome message which appears on the SAP Portal.
I have done the following steps :
1. Imported the com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.masthead_core.jar from the server.
2. Created a EJB Project using the jar file imported all the classes.
3. Created the .java classes and pasted all the code.
4. Added all the required JAR files.
I have used the following blog :

We are upgrading our portal (NW 7.31, SPS12) and SAP system (ECC 6.06, SPS 12). We are getting a compatibility error on the Team Reports screen in portal. The error message links to the following SAP note:
1970689 - Use of "Edge" and "Compatibility" mode for Unified Rendering
Solution
The following solution requires that the main page (which is directly loaded into the browser) sets the Internet Explorer browser mode explicitly via X-UA-Compatible HTTP header or HTML <META> tag. Relying on the browser build-in behavior or "Compatibility View" settings may result in different behavior per user.
Issue 1: Internet Explorer runs in “Edge” mode. Application is started in „Compatibility“ mode.

We have upgraded our current Portal from 7.11 to NW 7.5 SP2.I am looking forward your export opinion on below issue.
I am getting below error in popup while opening WebUI CRM link from Portal.
"Session Management will not work!" Please check the DSM log file for details.
As suggested in other threads, I have turned off the Debug Mode as added in screen shot but issue didn't solve yet.
Please help to suggest on this?

We have upgraded our current Portal from NW 7.11 to NW 7.5 SP2. I am looking forward your expert help on below issue we are facing while launching Web Dynpro for couple of Users ONLY.
Couple of Users reported they are getting alert popup as soon as they open existing java dynpro application.
The error message says
An error occurred while starting the iView.
Application /webdynpro/dispathcher/sap.com ... ... ... will run with a wrong client window ID!
Do not continue; please report this problem to your administrator.
Please help to suggest on this.

As they say when someone first calls into a radio show... 'Long time listener, first time caller'... and background = I am a workflow developer, not a portal person and not a Basis person either (so be gentle with me?)
Since we upgraded to the portal equivalent of 7.4 SP11, an action that our users used to be able to perform, to Show the PDF of a Shopping Cart in SRM, has failed.
In the past, when the user right-clicked and selected 'ShowPDF' we would launch a URL that specified an ITS Service called ZSRMSCVIEW. This opened a new headerless window in the browser, and the PDF would be downloaded.
Now when we do the same thing, we get this helpful error message
I can test the service directly from SICF and all is well, it's only from the UWL inbox that it fails. What is puzzling me is the URL generated now... it's really really long and garbled.
Here is the old URL that is generated when the user selects ShowPDF -
Not terribly pretty, but certainly functional...

I see lots of refences to null parameters, such as SAPSRM_BOID, SAPSRM_BOTYPE - and I know for sure that the XML for this task works correctly for all the other actions. But here's the XML anyway:

We have upgraded the portal from 7.0 to 7.4, After upgrade web dynpro z iviews are displaying blank page in IE9, 10, 11. Web dynpro java standard iviews are working fine.
It is working fine when we change the browser compatibility settings, But users have different type of browsers and OS.
Please suggest whether any solution is there to change the settings in Portal it self.

Hi All,
I have a requirement where though the browser language for users is swedish or finnish, a work item when launched from the UWL should open in EN language.
This particular work item that the UWL is trying to launch is basically a BSP Iview. Currently what is happening is almost most of the fields appear in EN language when the work item is launched but some dont appear in EN.
I have tried to launch the work item from UWL in the same window. In this case, all fields appear in english but user faces difficulty in navigating back to UWL screen. Hence, we would like a solution where the work item is launched in a new window but all fields should appear in EN. Can someone help in fixing this language issue ?

Approve icon is missing for Approver in WPC. We have configured approval workflow as per link but unfortunately the approver is not get the approve icon for WPC page.

Hello Friends,
We have a WD Java Application to edit the generated XML files(These XML files are created through WD Java application). We have successfully edited the XML files except one file. when ever we are trying to edit the this XML file it showing the "500 Internal server error -- contact system administrator"
Note: This is for only one file, for remaining it works fine.
Can any body help on this issue.

Initially there was no requirement for enabling security question while resetting passwords, but later on we were required to have this. So we selected the Use a Predefined Security Question radio button on the User Admin UI page. Now my question is for already existing users, where can they go and select the security question and answer in the portal?

There are a no of requests such as Leave Application, Travel Request, Release Request(MM) are displaying in the Work Overview of Manager Self Service Role. Now my user wants to view only the Leave Application Requests in the UWL as these are confusing for them.
So I want to create a subview where I can select only those request which are meant for Leave purpose only.

I have this issue where a simple jquery mobile application does not rendered correctly in the PoD framework page. The app currently occupy around 50% of the framework page display area
I have written a simple jquery mobile app, displaying inside PoD.

If you see the application is displayed withtin a small area with a scroll. Is there any settings to make full page..
I have tried making the iview as full page, framkepage settings, but no luck
Also the app names do not correctly display. Its truncated as shown above..
Anyone have tried with PoD, any hints will be useful.
