Dear Experts,
We are doing the enhancement for the portal logon page error messages for our customer.
In the portal logon page for different authorization failures like wrong Username, wrong Password,missing Username
we get the same error message "User authentication failed".
But in the logonMessage.Properties file we have separately maintained value for different errors.
MISSING_UID=User ID missing
WRONG_PASSWORD=User password incorrect
MISSING_PASSWORD=Password missing
Plz let me know how to get the appropriate error message for a corresponding failure.
System details:
The portal is in 7.01 SP11.
