Cannot Open SAP Portal with Windows 7 settings

Hi All,

We have a SAP Portal 7.0 (SP21). The issue is when users are using windows 7 and IE8, they are getting error message "The Webpage page cannot be displayed" error. The solution so far has been users were asked to Uncheck the setting Tools->InternetOptions->Advanced->TLS 1.0

But the issue is there is another application which needs  the TLS 1.0 needs to be checked . So when users need to use both applications, there is an issue with the settings.

This is happening with Windows vista and Windows 7.

XP is fine.

Can anyone pls throw some light on it as to how can we resolve this
