We are migrating from EP 7.01 to EP 7.4 SP3,  we are facing a problem accessing SRM 7.01 content with Chrome browser, we have activated in the SRM side allowotherbrowsers to true, then when we access using our current portal 7.01 using Chrome... the content is displayed properly, but when we try to do the same trought our EP 7.4 the content is not displayed Could not open iView. The iView is not compatible with your browser.

I have checked the allowed browsers list in our Framework page of EP 7.4 and Chrome is there. I think the problem is because the Iview in the provider is only having "(MSIE, >=5.5, *) (Netscape, *, *) (Mozilla,*,*)" then the framework page in 74 is not reading chrome from the iview in the producer and is locking the content. 

In general this is the problem:

EP 7.01 --> FPN to SRM 7.01 (Chrome browser)  = OK

EP 7.4 --> FPN to SRM 7.01 (Chrome browser)  = Could not open iView. The iView is not compatible with your browser

The FPN is takes the Framework page of consumer portal to display the producer content, it means that is trying to read the Ivew properties from SRM portal that does not contain Crhome in the supported browsers list. it is not happening in version 7.01 becuse the "fix" allowotherbrowsers service is there, but this service does not exist is EP 7.4. or you can nor add or modify the property.

do you have some suggestion to fix this issue?

the original-language-field in content admin is a non-input-field, i can't change the language there

I donot have a NWDI setup. Currently, I want to just try on my local Sandbox server on ways to customize the biller direct.

We are having Federated Portal setup with following system with their version as:

Producer Version : 7.31 SP10 (BI-Java)

Consumer Version : 7.40 SP5

And have shared the BI-java 7.31 application in Portal 7.4 as Remote Delta link application iView.

Application is getting copied and pasted as Local content well in Consumer Portal. But when I am trying to preview the application from consumer, I am getting logon screen. Which depicts that there is some issue with SSO.

Whereas all the necessary SSO configuration is already done and also required permsission provided for all the user present both in producer and consumer portal. But still getting logon screen in consumer portal.

Need to know, whether to do any extra configuration for FPN having consumer portal running on version 7.4 or missing with any important permission.

Hi experts,

I try to create a custom theme in SAP portal 7.31.5. When I open the SAP tradeshow with elementen ´Classic Framework Page´ and save this theme, with a new name, the  customer_brand_image is not displaying anymore. When I add (upload) a custom image I can see it in the theme editor but when I save the image is disappeard when it´s saved. I can not add a new image.

How can I solve this?

in SPRO, i have the following:

when i tick on columns Active and Default profile, i receive:

we have a requirement that on click of logoff in the portal , the use should be navigated to another jsp , where the session is invalidated so the user should not login from the same session again.

In our portal on click of logoff we are navigating the use to the other page , called LoggedOut.jsp whose jspdynpage component is ABC ,  and here when the page LoggedOut.jsp is loading im invalidating the session .

Now in the same browser when im entering my portal url https://xxxx:50001/irj/portal my logonmodule is called , and here in doProcessbeforeoutput() method we are handling navigation to different jsp pages and hence here im using the code

httpRequest.isRequestedSessionIdValid()

to check if the session is valid or invalid , im getting session as valid i.e boolean value True is returned by

httpRequest.isRequestedSessionIdValid() , as im invalidating the session in ABC component , here i should get boolean value false, but not happening.

and the httpsession id is same in both components.

please suggest a solution .

is httprequest and httpsession that we are getting from Iportalcomponentrequest and Iportalcomponent sessions componentSpecific ?

We are facing issues in portal translations.

We have custom roles in Self services Portal, which we are trying to translate by creating translation list. Of all the roles only Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service are not getting translated. We have tried translations of worksets also.

Couple of items on Navigation in MSS like Talent management and Performance management are also not getting translated.

We are on NW version 7.3.

Any pointers to resolve the issue would be helpful.

i have a role named xxxxx , under which two pages are there , one is xxxLogonDtlPage and another one is UserInfopage  , now i have kept the entry point of the role as No , and entry point of xxxLogonDtlPage as yes ,  in the portal , the role name is not displayed and xxxLogonDtlPage is getting displayed , and contets of that page xxxLogonDtlPage is also getting displayed , but ideally the role itself should be invisble , should i change any other property  ?

Hello SDN colleagues,

I'm with a problem using URL iView and HTTP System to provide SSO to a web application. In EP 6 SP2 I used with success the com.sap.portal.appintegrator component to implement sso to web app, but now in the EP 6 SP 9 or higher it seems that there are other methods to do the same. Here are the steps I followed according SAP documentation:

1) I tested the url / uri directly in the browser, using the format https://<server><uri>?<login>&<password>. It works, I used Yahoo Mail as the web target.

2) I created the system using HTTP System template, configuring the necessary properties. An alias was created for this system

3) I created the iview using URL Iview, pointing the system to the alias above.

4) I fulfill the user / password info in the user mapping option.

Then I got the following error trying to execute the iview:

It doesn't matter the target system and properties info I fill, the message is always the same.

Does someone have any idea about this ? I could have this working in another installation some time ago, with the same EP version, so it's a really strange behavior.

Hi All

I need to make some adjustment with EPCF Configuration, we are currently on SAP NW version 7.0 EHP1.

As per the image below, I want to make third option as default, which is 'Discard changes and open content in same window' currently its option 1.

I have tried making adjustments in System Administration -> System Configuration -> Service configuration

I have tried changing the value of workprotect.mode.default to 1 or 2 but when I do that, the dialog window completely disappears.

Even tried with workprotect.popup.mode.options but it makes no difference.

Have anybody come across this, and can guide me what needs to be done.

1. I defined a task in SWFVISU trasnaction and it is of WBEDYNPRO ABAP APLLICATION

2. The visualization paramters are as follows

APPLICATION: <FPM OIF Based APPLICATION>

DYNPARAM: WI_ID=${item.externalId}&sap-wd-configId=ZWDA_****_BOOK

NAMESPACE: SAP

SYSTEM ALIAS: *****

now I executed  RE-REGISTER operation on the UWL configuration and the Item is added into XML file of uwl.webflow.<system.alias>.

Now when I recieve a workitem and I try to open it it gives me an error

What needs to be done please suggest
