Reading the Logs Files -Portal activity report (UserInfo)

Hi All

Could you any throw a Pointer.

we got a requirement to generate a custom report on Portal Activity ( mainly on the user /user email address / Company name)

I know we can get the Login in user id from the Security_00.log files .(under path -/usr/sap/SID/JNN/j2ee/cluster/system/security_00*.log)

Could you any one , point me out - how to we read the security log file from JspDynpage or AbstractPortalcomponent.

Since we want this report to be in portal, and would be accessible to all user.

Please let me know any pointer. or let me know if there any other better way of reading the log files with the portal application.
