workflow issue in portal

Hi Expert,

I am facing one issue in portal(7.0) application. If there is an "open" request in the worklist and I
am clicking on "rejected", the request would be reject. But i havethe possibility as administrator, to approve requests withstatus"reject".

The portal confirms the approval of the request status, but the workflow
doesn't work.

Someone can share his experience for solving above issue?
