Amidst the various timeouts and places where they can be configured, sometimes things get lost like a pin in haystack.
For a couple of weeks our back-end (BI) team is complaining that users are getting annoyed as they are getting frequently getting logged-out of the systems in about 30 mins. I have been told that the back-end has a timeout of 50 mins. And we are now being requested to increase this timeout from 30 mins to 50 mins in our front-end BI Java Portal Sever as well. Our systems are SAP NW 7.01 BI Java.
Which timeout parameter is this? HTTP Session, idle timeout, dispatcher timeout? Are there any wiki on the various SAP Portal Timeouts?
