Subscribing to a portal event with Portal component DC

Hello All,

I have a requirement where a Portal Component DC and a Web Dynpro DC will fire / raise an Portal Event  with some data.

And I have 3rd Portal Component DC where I need to subscribe to this event, read the data and execute some piece of javascript code.

Any idea/sample code how handle this subscribe event in Portal Component DC?

Where should this subscribe event method should be written? It should react whenever this Portal event is fired.

Please help.
