Hi All,
I'm currently configuring one of the standard ESS WebDynpro iviews, I'm setting a field as mandatory by selecting the "mark as mandatory" flag while in iview preview mode (ctrl + shift + right click). The red star appears fine, however, there doesn't seem to be an actual validation applied to the field? The process can still continue even if the field remains empty. One would assume that such config would actually make the field mandatory, or am I missing something here? Do I need to configure anything in the backend for the validation to be performed?
